Fort George is a very large wooden fort, just across the Niagara River from Niagara. It is an excellent reconstruction, and sits at the south end of one of the pretty towns in North America. It is an outstanding vacation destination. The NWD was invited and attended an event there several years ago and received outstanding treatment from the sponsors. Both sides of the Niagara River, from Buffalo to Lake Ontario, are layered with history of three wars, the French and Indian, the Revolution, and the War of1812, as well as the Fennian Rebellion. This event has a chance to be really big, and I hope you will plan on attending. Remember, you will need passports or passport cards to cross the border. These take several months to process, so make sure you get this out of the way.
As with all BAR events, any current member of the Brigade of the American Revolution in any Department or Region can attend this or any BAR event.
