Once again, we open this year’s campaign with the annual School of the Soldier at New Windsor. Drill, lectures and CCM meetings and workshops will allow you to prepare for the oncoming events of the year. Highlights of the weekend will be book signings by the authors Don Troiani on Saturday and Bob Mayers on Sunday! And don’t forget to attend the Annual Meeting Saturday night; hear about the year’s events and share in workings of our organizations operations. Sunday mornings “Come to Meeting Stitch and Bitch” is the annual CCM informational get together. Ackermann Arms will be about for musket tune ups. This year the site has requested and we are urging all to bring tents and set up camp; visitation is up thanks to last year’s events in the Hudson Valley. All in all, a great way to kick off the 2010 Campaign!
All programs take place in the Temple building unless otherwise specified, and you are welcome to quietly sew on your workshop projects while listening to subsequent speakers.
